Wanted Clean FJ60 in Blue, Red, or Silver

Hey guys! I have been flying all over the US looking for a really clean, rust-free FJ60. Most of the Cruisers I have come across have been repainted, stripped, need substantial maintenance, or are otherwise overpriced. I'm reaching out to the Mud community to help with my search.

I am looking for a 1981 to 1987 FJ60 that is relatively original, in good to excellent condition. I'm not too interested in engine swaps, big lift kits, custom work, or other novelty features (RHD, High Roof, Two-Tone, Canadian/JDM, etc) that would put a premium on the price.

My budget is around $15k, but I could go higher for the right Cruiser. The three exterior colors that I am looking for are:

Freeborn Red (Paint Code: 309)

(Dark) Blue (Paint Code: 8B2)

Silver Metallic (Paint Code: 147)

Thanks for contacting me! I am indeed still looking. I've tried "buying remotely" in the past, and it works better in theory than in practice. The logistics of - flying in, reviewing the truck, and driving it home - is difficult for negotiations if you're the Buyer. If you're ever in Texas with the Cruiser, let me know. I'd love to see it in person! For now though, I'm going to pass.
