No NAV means different things, here's a few I can think of:
- Separate climate control. (My personal favorite.)
- Easily upgrade to modern stereo and or NAV w/ high res screen.
AHC
I like AHC for: "H" working under, "L" for working on top or loading or hooking up trailer. When AHC system working well it's sweet to dial in for road condition. But even in a well maintained systems, the globs will fail. It's components are pricey. So high maintenance cost is big draw back.
Non AHC or standard Land Cruiser suspension; is robust, reliable, inexpensive to maintain and is easily upgraded for built rig weight or lift. For off road or third wold it's the only way to go.
VVT
Does have addition emission reducing features.
But what we care about is the sport car feel to it. With it's better acceleration and passing ability, they fly over the mountain passes with near the easy of the 200 series' 5.7L duel cam VVt heads.
Here are just a few of the changes.
Redesigned intake has 8 butterfly along the top which open as less torque needed at high speeds, adding to high end power curve. This along with the VVT (variable valve timing) improves HP and MPG over 70 MPH also. Some have fitted these intakes on non VVT 2UZ-fe

The AI system will need servicing and like starter is under intake.
The O2 or A/F sensor issue, seems confined to 06, possible early 06. We've not heard a lot of this in 07. But this could be due to so few 07 made. It could be due to a batch of sensors, we don't know. But easy fix if one swaps out sensor, rather than CAT as some have done.
