Has anyone laid eyes on this in person? Would be interested to know what close eyes on the frame and undercarriage reveals!

I went to look at it. Dealer seems like a stand-up guy, but . . . . . it is very dirty inside. Maybe I am being too picky, but for that much money I expect to have the DVD player still in the ceiling vs a 6"x12" hole in the head liner. There is some kind of sharpie design like a kid tried to make a flower on the back left pillar. All of the marble-ish trim has this gross dirty, scratched-up blue color to it. The driver-side rear door rubs the jam when it closes - - I am guessing it could be adjusted like most cars, but there is no sign of damange, etc. Didn't seem real rusty underneath. It just generally looked like a car that had be really used HARD by people who really didn't care much about it. He had fixed the motor for the seat. For some reason when I saw it, I thought - - this is worth like $7k max as it went from being a nice family car in my mind to being an off-road only vehicle.
Yep, My friend that now owns a Hundy found one up north that looked good until he flew up there, only to realize it had seen some winter salt, LOL
It's been for sale longer than that. I found it and sent it to my bro in law over a month ago, so it looks like they've relisted it several times. A good price on a good LC doesn't last long, so I'm guessing it's got some issues. I've seen Cruisers go for a decent/fair price in hours, and I've seen "great" priced ones sit on the market for months. The only way to know if it's worth it with these older trucks is to see it in person and drive it.
I looked at it Sat... super dirty inside, left pass door is loose, couple of down tot he metal scratches, and every panel has something on it. Clean service history and car fax though. just a whole where the overhead DVD player was, and the 2-3 shift under light load was clunky.
make a nice trail truck - which is 50% of what i wanted - just need to be able to drive it to work too
If it was 10K i'd have gone for it - 14.9k firm so i passed - you can get way better lx470's for that.

Little market update for everyone........truck sold and delivered for $14,950 plus $199 doc fee........buyer super happy.
rlynch356 - can you point me to all the comparable ones out there for $10k? I'll pay a finders fee.......
weejub - even better - all the $7k dollar comparable ones that you find I'll pay you $3k profit a piece......

Shows there is a sucker born every minute. congrats on your sale. People on this site are smart when it comes to what a LC is worth. Glad you found a buyer.
I think it's possible the type buyer on this forum is a little unrealistic with their valuation - I hop they prove me wrong and send me lots to buy at their price points.........we can all make money!
