Clank in 4-low going into park. Normal?

When I am in 4-low and I stop and put the car into park, there is an audible 'clank' which comes from under the front of my rig.
Not grinding or anything and it is only when it goes into park.
Going from drive into reverse or vise versa and into all gears are pretty quiet, otherwise.

Does anyone else experience this noise? Or perhaps, know what it is?

put it in park in high and then pugh the vehicle a couple inches, get the same clank? you might have to try a couple times, if it is already lined up when you go into park it will not clank

if the same clank it is just the parking pawl dropping into place, (think huge ratchet)

it takes less motion of the vehiclefor it to drop it wile in low, therefore you hear it more often.
