I think that they want to look like Aisins. fooled me at firstSince those are non-branded hubs I wasn't sure what those were supposed to be mimicking.You are correct that those do not have tapered holes.

Considering that the Cutlass hub predates Aisin's first foray into the world of LC locking hubs, I think it would be more appropriate to say that Aisin copied Cutlass.

To the future people that find this thread. Do more research before buying the City Racer hubs. Don’t make the same mistake I did and either swap in later model parts or source higher quality take off hubs.
