I did wrap, maybe one day I go back to chrome. It is not painThat G-Wagon, mmmmmm.
I agree that chrome on lighter colored vehicles actually compliments the vehicle.

Is the lower door trim held in place with body tape or grommets? IE, if you remove the door trim entirely, are there holes left in the door? Seems like vinyl wrapping the front grill and rear hatch chrome would be best as it won't chip vs paint. Thoughts?
I’ve read somewhere there will be holes to be patched
ON my 19 it had holes in the door. So I just removed them, really easy, took them to a local shop and had them wrapped for $300. The was on a white 19. I have had them on over a year now and no issues. That's what I thought. Hmm, 200 is at the body shop getting painted anyways, along with some PPF. So is the best plan to have the body shop paint the door moldings and have the front grill rear hatch chrome wrapped? Or just have everything painted or everything wrapped?
