Extra shout out goes to @ErikinSC. He figured out why my inverter kept blowing my fuses. Beyond that, I had clutch trouble after the parade. Turns out I have a leak and he followed me most of the way home. Also, thanks to Greg for helping with the troubleshooting!

Sorry I missed it.

I had a great time, It's a go for next year for sure.
Jeremy, if you can hold off until the 9th, we can fix it then. add some fluid to it for now.

I sent @beno a note to see if he could get the Slave and Master cylinders. They were pretty inexpensive on SOR, so might as well swap them both if we're going to need to bleed the system anyhow... The fluid looks pretty bad. But yeah, this is a good HAMOM project.

We had a great time and I hope we do this again next year. I had a bulb bread in the door and lost a section of lights. We may want to save a few old tires to put on our bumper in case there is a 40 behind you riding the clutch, you did well Erik.

Do you know how old the slave cylinder is? If it's fairly new I doubt you would have to replace it.

Jeremy-you can always run by Fred Anderson here in West Ashley and he can have those parts tomorrow morning for you with ONSC discount. Very easy replacement and if you have to you could gravity bleed. I would start with Slave unless you have fluid leaking down firewall from Clutch master.

By the way anyone know who has the 55 in Mt. P? we passed a nice one right off Rifle Range on our way home. No Christmas lights and it was a 77 or older based on rear lights.

I've been meaning to ask you about this... Corey no longer works there and the other folks seem to know nothing about it. I didn't know what to tell them regarding how to look it up, but I'm a paid ONSC member through 2023. Any thoughts?

Call me and I will discuss with Mark over in parts. All paid members are in the database which is live and updates as new members are brought on board. I will see if I can also get this setup for LCLC now that the West Ashley dealership is part of the Fred Anderson Auto Group.

You could call Jeff in parts at Scott Clarke Toyota but It would probably cost the same from Onur.

Do both parts at once and have peace of mind. Onur will also make sure you get any gaskets or small parts to go with it. I'll look for my invoice when I bought the same parts from him and let you know. Might've been Nalley, though. The replacement isn't difficult at all. Even you can do it if I could. And I was probably drunk.

I went in there a couple of months ago and dealt with a big guy in parts, can't remember his name, but I had no problem getting the ONSC discount, and yes, I'm a member. For smaller things, Onur is great, but the shipping hurts, so I go there instead.

Hey y'all, I just wanted to say that Rae really enjoyed meeting everyone. She thought everyone was very nice and she felt very welcome. She hated that the lights on the 40 went out halfway through the parade and wants redemption next year! She doesn't understand that troubleshooting is what Erik loves to do - so we were really just being good friends to him...

She is very introverted, but she met everyone, and that's a big deal for her.

She was also extremely impressed with @Beau Diddly 's knowledge of Martha Stewart's new line of Christmas Wreaths. She will be hitting him up later for tea and a design consult. I told her that she shouldn't expect that knowledge from anyone else and that he probably learned his Martha Stewart decorating tips in the Air Force.

My kids loved the parade! I think Snoopy was a hit with all their friends from school!

Next year, Snoopy or Erik's snowman, or a likeness, needs to go in the left seat of one of the RHD cruisers, fake steering wheel for extra points. @southerncruiser62 @mmacpherson

I'm definitely in for next year, but I have to vote against Jeremy's idea of the "other" parade.

I had an additional 4' Santa - but didn't want to confuse the kids.. 'Cause the "real Santa' was on the firetruck at the end of the parade....

Is that an USAF parade? I'm sorry, that's not funny.... I don't care who you are, especially if you served in the AF.
