Hi Ayune. Mine broke off recently and I'm def contemplating removing the holds / brackets, just doing away with it entirely. Could you provide any info on the best way to fill / cover / seal those bolt holes? What to do for total deflector removal? Any info would be much appreciated. Tnx
Since the rivnuts aren’t sealed to the body (just metal-on-metal) you need to seal around their edges, and inside the hole, with silicone. It’s not going to be pretty, but since the bracket formed the factory seal, once you remove it you need to reseal somehow with silicone.

I got one of the alibaba spoilers. Ended up around $120 shipped. Never seen the OEM one up close but the finish is very good and it's solid. Includes mounting feet but not the rivnuts and bolts for fasten mounts to body.
