Hi Ayune. Mine broke off recently and I'm def contemplating removing the holds / brackets, just doing away with it entirely. Could you provide any info on the best way to fill / cover / seal those bolt holes? What to do for total deflector removal? Any info would be much appreciated. Tnx
Since the rivnuts aren’t sealed to the body (just metal-on-metal) you need to seal around their edges, and inside the hole, with silicone. It’s not going to be pretty, but since the bracket formed the factory seal, once you remove it you need to reseal somehow with silicone.

I got one of the alibaba spoilers. Ended up around $150 shipped (looks like you can get them as cheap as $120 shipped). Never seen the OEM one up close but the finish is very good and it's solid. Includes mounting feet but not the rivnuts and bolts for fastening mounts to body.

How is this deflector from Alibaba working out? What vendor did you purchase from on that site?
Hey, i never installed it. Sitting here In the box. Couldn't bring myself to drill into the rear hatch (my truck came without a spoiler). If you want it, shoot me a DM and we can figure out a price. Been meaning to list it for sale but hadn't got around to it. Checked my invoice and I paid $150 shipped back in July last year.

yes let's discuss. Can you shoot me a picture or two of the mounting brackets, I want to make sure that they match up with what was on my Cruiser - I have a 2004.

That looks OEM, nice find!

I was able to install one of these eBay spoilers onto a 2000 Land Cruiser that had the spoiler break when something hit it a few months ago. The fit and finish was fantastic for an aftermarket part. Offered 200 shipped and it was accepted.

Also picked up one from eBay to replace my broken one by PO.

Seller accepted $170 offer (original price $190) and it was shipped quickly out of California warehouse (delivered by Amazon- go figure). It fit up perfectly to the factory/port mountings without any modifications.

Also noticed crack in 3rd brake light so new OEM one is on the way :(

Wow 170. They didn’t accept that low for me but theres a few sellers. Definitely add the link of your nice seller. I saw slight differences in attachment hardware but not sure it matters much.

Great quality right?

I offered $165 and they counted at $170.
Yes. Great smooth black matte finish on the outside.

after searching around a fair bit on www , I'm based in Australia and these are still available locally, Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Rear Dust Guard Tinted Jan 1998 - Sep 2007 PZQ65-60010 - https://www.newtowntoyota.parts/PZQ6560010/Genuine-Toyota-LandCruiser-100-Series-Tinted-Dust but nowhere on partsouq or other usual international sites. I've used this site with great success on several issues so if youre keen PM and Ill get a quote for shipping stateside. Picking one up and will post pic when installed.
Wondering if anyone else tried this? Would be nice if we can get a shipping quote out of Australia
