My Cruiser is on its way from Japan at this time. I am told that now to pass inspection that the headlights need to be changed. Is there a place most guys are using to get their lights from once the vehicle is imported? (the Toyota dealership wants a bucket of cash). Thanks

Go onto Fleabay and do a search for landcruiser headlights. There are a bunch of bling ones but they do have the standard E-Code ones that are legit (in BC at least). Here's a link.

These are LHD E-Code lights made by depo, similar to ones i see selling up here for $400+. Make sure you specify using USPS for shipping NOT UPS. UPS will gouge you on brokerage fees.

Took a bit over a week for me to get mine, but if your in a hurry, use the other sources mentioned.

You need headlight from Sept 944 (or 93 can't remember) or earlier.
After that they changed. Search my threads and you will find it.
It's been a while since I had my HDJ81 now.

Cheers,
N.
