Changing 13BT inlet manifold to ? with VSV shutdown

I am trying to inter cool my 13BT with a PWR barrel intercooler,pic at the bottom. I want to place it straight from the turbo to the inlet manifold. To do this I was going to modify the top part of the inlet manifold to move the inlet, problem is there is a vacuum operated air shut off in the inlet manifold.

Does anyone know if I can swap to a 3B or 14BT or other type of manifold that still has vacuum shut down and moves or alllows me to modify the air intake further from the engine centreline ?

Hulsty, did you ever get an answer or solution to this question? I have actually just posted almost an identical question as I have a BJ74 and want to fit a water to air intercooler!
