Hello everyone, I’ve been a big fan of this forum for a longtime now and the wealth of information here is unmatched. First, I’m grateful for everyone who contributed and helped those who respond and those who are silently thankful, you are awesome.
I have a 2015 200 series that is heavily modified and the subject of this post, An imported 1979 LHD French BJ43 that I had for many years now. It went through a B to 3B then currently just had a 13BT just put in by a local diesel shop. The shop could not get it to start and stayed there for a couple of years till they gave up and I towed it back home. I followed many posts here and here’s where I’m at, took the timing cover and it was out of timing so I realigned it then adjusted the valve lash gap and disconnected the vsv valve. I emptied the tank and purged the lines with new diesel. The injectors were totally stuck and had to be rebuilt with denso parts. A moment of truth and with my 10 years old on the key and me getting the air out it started and purred again. Now I have to put back the hoses that the shop removed but I have no reference to where the vacuum and water cooler hoses go of anyone has a picture especially where the cabin heater valve plugs to. Also I have to find a location for the rerun pipe. My tank has 3 vent hoses and a return for these and the fuel pick up line as well as the filler inlet. Can I tap into one of these to avoid putting a return bung into the tank and making a hole at the bottom of it? Here are some pictures of the vent setup. Sorry for the long introduction and thanks again.

I have a BJ74 with a 13BT in NOVA if you want to come take a look. I also have a copy of the 13BT service manual.

Thank you so much for your reply. That would be awesome as I can look at where things need to be. I have pdf copy of the Manual but it so much easier when you have a visual.

The LC FSM doesn't show the fuel lines. The 13BT manual shows a fuel hose and a leakage pipe. I can only guess that the leakage pipe might be the return line. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will provide better input.
