Had to replace my cvs and mechanic replaced them with a second hand pair suppose to be in good condition. I have noticed that when I turn to the right side I hear like a rattle sound like a clunk even sometimes from a start stop on take off I hear it to in a straight line.I was told that if you hear the noise on the right when turning the cv on the opposite side is the problem being left side.Boots look fine and no grease mess.

My bet is left side cv is no good that he replaced.Bearings were repacked and greased and there a no vibrations.

Check the axle hub flange snap ring, one may have come off.

Yes. Snap ring may be rattling around in grease cap. Axle may be slipping in and out. Easy to check, just pull off hub cap then grease cap (wheels on).

This assumes your second hand frond drive shafts (AKA CV's) are in good condition and installed properly. There is also a snap ring on inside of front drive shafts (inner axle tip) that needs to be replacing with new, before inserting into front differential. This snap ring must be pointed down during instillation.

Thanks guys car back at garage now told them issue and said there going to replace it with a another cv touch wood it's better.

I have to agree with the others, sounds like a snap ring issue.
