The only option in my neighborhood with CenturyLink is 10mb. So no. I did renegotiate with Cumcast. They had bumped me up to 80mb and charged me stupid money accordingly (no TV or phone). The fella I was talking to wanted nothing to do with cutting my bill and would not give me what I wanted (40mb). I ended up with a package that was $20/mo less, but I'm still at the overkill speed of 70mb. They did add this TV package, which is worthless on the TV, but plays OK on the computer screen. I've used it a few times to watch programming that was not available over-air.
I'm locked in for 12 months ... then I will have another chat with Cumcast.
