Took a few pics for you today anyway...found the right center console on the shelves. Appears to be a 70 series with no rear heat...I couldn't find the lid or the shallow bin that goes on top of the deep bin.

This picture shows that the console is universal for LHD and RHD. The difference is the smaller piece in front that has the cutout on the left or right side depending on where the parking brake lever is at (seems to be this way...but I haven't taken it apart and tried switching the pieces). I think the one that's on the console is for a RHD, and the piece for a LHD is beside it.

This picture shows just how deep and large that bin is without the rear heater components to take up the room.

This picture shows the rear of the console. Note that there are no climate controls...instead there's a blank plastic face bolted on.

Not on me. Next time I am out at the shop I will try and remember to grab it and take some pics. If I still had my 70 I would have swaped it in.. no need for rear heater in a 70 up here in Vancouver B.C

You're welcome, Shel. Do you know if those pieces are interchageable in the front by the parking brake lever to adapt the console from RHD to LHD?

Thanks for the compliment, yep that is my welding, actually that was wire welding (ok I forgot to turn on the gas, boy stupid around the holidays..like duh!!! But very strong welds, the modified center console now doubles as a wheel cuck.he he he he he. I was going to TIG weld it but I was in a hurry and a little lazy around the holidays so MIG is was (ok was suppossed to be).
