Damn Deny, that looks fantastic!! :)

Thanks man, not too shabby for a $50 paint job. Key is you gotta be at least 1m away! (camera can't pick up the roller lines, runs, and orange peal:hillbilly:)

1m isn't bad, I think it's 4m for mine.

Breakin Trail, guess I should get on putting on that Turbo instead of turning the fuel back eh!:hillbilly:

A bit of mud packed in that fender cavity in the first pic eh? No suprise they all rust out.

And yes, turbo that stinky mofo.

Hey Martin,

We were looking at the pics you sent from Windy Ridge last night with Adam and Amanda and had a good laugh at this one where Amanda was pulling a smaller tree away from the bronco so it could fit through the tight trail. Anyway Adam said there was a tree just before then when you were waiting for him for quite a while and he couldn't get his rear of the truck through a tight squeeze, so he had Amanda drive while he hung on the tree like a monkey and with his feet against the top of his tub pushing the tree away so he could pull his truck through.
Cheers,
Deny

Funny the mail service is faster north than south ;). Glad you guys liked the pics. There would have been more if my camera wasn't nearly dead after day 2. Had to keep the battery in my pocket to warm up and even then it was like two or three shots at a time. I went to resize the pics so they'd all fit on the CD, but made them smaller than needed. Still have the original files if needed.

It was fun seeing where Adam could squeeze that FS through, thought for sure he'd end up with way more scars.

yeah i thought 4 sure he'd ask us to cut some trees to make room, cause I was having problems getting through a few squeeses with the wagon. But I did warn him that it would be tight and he understood. We do do a lot of quad trails up here though, so we are sort of used to it.

Mostly cause I am not motivated enough to finish off the report I am working on and cause Martin's waiting for my CD, here is a teaser for you where you is climbing up "the hill" which most of the rest of the CC contingent was scared of.

Nice, looks less steep than some peoples driveways in that pic .
It actually is fairly steep and getting a dozen or so trucks up it with a skiff of snow would be a mess.

Yeah not as professional as yours, but some turned out pretty good. Hows the writing going?:hillbilly:

Finished up welding the rear quarters, did the pass side before the last wheeling trip, and this weekend finished the rest.

chopped the heck out of my old 70 series fenders. and siliconed the s*** out of the damn thing. All my other body fixes were pretty half ass, but this one takes the cake, cause I am not too concerned about the quality. Oh well getting a little practice with body work welding, which will come in handy once I get on my mine truck again.

Took the manifold monstosity I got with the truck and started doing some chopping: Hoping to fit my little D50 turbo on there just for simplicity sake, but it is taking a bit longer than I thought putting the manifold together.
Cheers,
Deny

That was the plan, until I can find another one to replace it with. I did call a new turbo place, and he said it would cost 800 new, but then never called me back to see if he could get it for me, so I think I will start hunting the junkyards for one. If you happen to find one somewhere, let me know.
Cheers,

spent a little time on this tonight, trying to get the majority done off the actual manifold, so I don't heat up and distort the block mounting surface. Thing is a little heavier than I would have liked, but it is solid.
