Are there enough of you out there that would be interested in grouping up for a Stainless Steel Cat-back system for the 5.7L engine (3urfe)? Currently there are none out there except for insanely expensive systems from japan ($3000+).

I have been bugging many vendors lately and one (very reputable with a long history of making power!) is willing to come up with a 304 stainless exhaust setup with DTH muffler and DTH lazer etched chrome tips (optional) that will put out a fair power increase + some sexy decibels.

The cost would be $450 + shipping, we will need 19, please post your interest and i will keep tracking the demand.

I do miss my Borla, and they don't make one for us either. I may be interested to see and here what it would sound like. I like the Borla because there was no drone at highway speeds but sounded great when romped on.

Main thing for me is making sure it has no drone, not loud like a truck. but Sound good when getting on it. If those are met I would be for sure down for one.!

and so do many muffler shops around the GCC. The group buy product is far from your local muffler shop making their own exhaust template, it is a global brand with decades of experience. IMHO, I rather go for a recognized entity where there will be customer support / sense of security for our expensive trucks.

Not to doubt Fox's product or anything, but I can't see them shipping and supporting their product for people abroad/overseas..

Hey guys, I'm new here. One reason I joined was to post specifically to post on this thread.

I have used DT products in the past...I had a set of headers installed on my Tacoma. They worked excellent and were well crafted.

I would definitely spring for a quality SS exhaust for my 200. No drone or excessive noise please.

Count me in on the exhaust build hope to see it on the market soon!

1. 4-6 weeks manufacturing time
2. There will be no drone. will be a bit louder based on first cat removal
3. shipping overseas is an absolute. DT ships all over the world
4. will be "off-road" only, no carb exempt on this header based no cat's are in the stock manifold currently. we will keep the one's in the y-pipe though for sound quality.

Please send your LC friends and whoever owns an LX570 to this thread

Are you saying this wont be street legal? Am I reading that it is a header back instead of a cat back?
I may have had a few too many tonight, but I'm not sure what point 4 is talking about?

I'm interested; a great addition to a supercharged LC. I'd like to see a Header/Cat Back/URD Sensor Simulator package. Jamie at Sparks has a similar set up on his supercharged Tundra and is pushing 630-650 hp.

ok guys back with an update

The reason that these are to be off road only is the first set of cats are integrated in the the stock manifolds. As soon as you mess with that it can't be smog legal from there.
