So I crushed my exhaust pipe that traveled under my frame out wheeling. Wound up deleting my cats and running my exhaust straight down the frame rail. Have noticed a significant loss of mileage since then. Does anyone have any info on the 02 simulators I need to install??

95+ truck? If so just buy some cats and put them on. Much easier solution.

Pretty sure rear 02 doesn't affect engine running-only setting CEL for notification of engine emisions because of defective cat. That's why sims work to just prevent cel-not change mixture. Pretty they are checking what the cat has done to exhaust only.

If it's an OBD2 rig, the upstream O2 controls engine mixture and is not affected by the cats. The down stream O2 is to monitor cat performance, mainly for emissions, doesn't effect mixture or motor running. The O2 simulator will make the ECU think the cats are there, working, but isn't likely to solve your problem?

I wonder if your upstream O2 sensor is jacked up somehow?
