here's pictures of it all:
the a/c unit has its own heater core..so you replace your existing underdash unit with this one...there was some black tape over the center vent, when I took off the tape, there is no fingers to direct the air in that one.

I can't see in the pic - does the underdash unit have the temp dial on the driver's side?

on the left side of the last picture, you can see the wires running to the dial....the dial points down.
It came out of a '79 pig, but should fit others....
