Any recommendations for a good fiberglass repair place? The cap from my '73 is all there, but extremely weathered.

What's keeping you from trying to touch it up yourself? I've never done fiberglass repair but I'm always amazed at how doable it looks as a DIY when I watch vids ;)

Good question! I agree it's supposed to be easy except for all the itching. This (my '73 restoration) is a big project, so if I can pay someone a couple hundred bucks to restore the cap, I'll be happy to. Other alternative is a new cap from CCOT, but that's costly.

Maybe ask a boat repair shop. I know they refinish fiberglass on boats all the time. The top is a lot smaller and less shapely and should be easy money for them.

I wish i had a roof on my 40 to have your problems.

If you know someone who is savvy with fj40 brake systems let me know. I have a one master cylinder 4 drum system want to put a booster and keep the drums. The firewall had a booster but someone reverted back to a mc no booster for some reason anyway the line is to all four drums

There’s a soft top on Craigslist in round rock for I think a reasonable price.
