They are based out of Flagstaff, and make a very nice product. I believe a few members already have them.

I have one of these coolers and use it every weekend in the summer. I would give it 5/5 stars. I take it on long trips and it keeps everything cold, very little melting and is better than a Yeti. It's not flashy but it is the best.

It's also an Arizona Company, which scores points with me too.

If they are out of stock until January it doesn’t sound like they are made in Flagstaff. I suspect they are importing them from an outsourced manufacturer. Does anyone know if they are actually made in Flagstaff or just distributed from there? It’s good to hear about the reported quality. I bought a knock off on ebay and found the lid seals inadequate and had to add seal material. Otherwise decent build quality.

Yeah, I have one. Actually, we have 2. We have a larger one and a smaller over the shoulder one. Good products. I use mine for day trips when it is silly to drag out my monster fridge. I also have used the larger one for beverages only on "overlanding" trips in order to free up space in my fridge. AZ company but Chinese made.

I'm 100% sure not made in China. I know the website says the insulation is made in Alabama. I believe they have manufacturing in Prescott.

I have the Prospector 109qt and it is the best cooler I have used. It is longer than most coolers and if you are a hunter that is a huge benefit. It also is lower than most coolers so it is easy to pack in the 80. So here is my Canyon Coolers story. Elk hunting trip, trashed the lid and hinge, called them and texted their rep a picture. Rep said give me a few days to work it out for you. Day 4 I get a knock on the door and it is a UPS driver delivering me a brand new cooler and had the call tag to pick up my destroyed one. That's a warranty and I will never buy another brand of cooler.
