Well I have read all the posts about tire sizes. My 62 is mostly used for 5 mile DD and then camping and fishing trips (guess who drives the truck daily - NOT ME :( )

Well anyway I need tires for moderate off road action. If I get to a lake I want to be able to take a trail to get somewhere to fish. With that said I won’t be hitting the Rubicon with it. As well I need something pretty quiet but I want a decently aggressive looking tire

I like the look of the BF T/A KO's. So far nobody has them or can order them with in the 33x9.50 size. As a side note I can get them on tirerack for $111 which I think is a fairly decent price. Most of the major tire chain stores wont mount tires that they don’t have on their order list. If they have them the price is usually $50 plus more a tire.

I will keep calling around maybe offer them some  I don't know.

I like LandPimps wife cruiser a lot. Mine is the same color with no lift. I plan a lift in the future but not going to do it right now because of the cost. I think I am a year or so away from the OME lift I want. Not to mention anyway I have always liked the Tall n Skinny tires.

So where did you get ur 33x9.50's at. What brand? The only tire I have seen that made them with decent prices is General.

What AT brand do you like/Use in that size? If I order them online at tirerack who would I get to mount them?

Do you have Discount Tire in your area? I know people who have orded the 33X9.5 BFG KOs from them. They'll also mount just about anything because I've had my local store swap tires several times on the same rims - didn't care where they came from.

I was strongly considering the Big O XT for a while, looking for the same size as you. They have a great Road Hazard Warranty that covers damage from ANY cause. The tread pattern also seems to be a good compromise between an AT and MT. Big O XT webpage.

correction............girlfriend........not that I wouldnt or wont marry her.......just that pimps can't have wife's :D

I get all(but one set) at Discount Tire, they have to order them(which is one drawback of tall skinnies), usally get em the same week.

Discount will match price, great service, lots of stores. I have never ordered tires online, bet you end up paying the same in the end, becuase most place will charge you HIGH mounting and ballancing charges.

Connie just loves the tires, so do I.

the ride was also IMOP greatly improved

Les Shawbe(sp) has some tires in 33x9.5, Avon and thier brand.
Big-O does
and one other I cant think of........Kelley I think.

Tire Rack provides a list of recommended installers in your area.....I had several within a reasonable drive and the one I selected was very good. In the end it was cheaper and just as convenient as Tire Rack will ship them directly to the installer.

Ooops Sorry about that pimp. What was I thinking? I was wondering how you could call yourself a pimp with a wife :)

Thank you so far for the replies. I was able to reach a friends friend that works at Just Tires and am trying to see if he can order them at a good price. They dont deal in BFG's so we shall see.

I am not a fan of Les Schwab at least in my area. On 2 cars of mine I have been very unsatisifed with the job they have done on tires and brakes. So Les is out of the question as I won't do biz again with them.

I do like BigO they have always done a good job but haven't really looked at their tires but I will right after this post. Also there is a Discount Tire about 40 min away, mabye I will bust them a call if that guy can't do them at Just Tires.

If your lucky you will get before and after pics if it ever happens. Hopefully within the next week or so.
