Yep Im a liar , with over 280 posts , with enough money to help out woody with some money (the silver star but you already know this from your other log in) . If I was going trolling I would have also made a new log in .

I responded and agreed. In fact, I told him I would take two if they are being shipped to Phoenix. I know one of my brothers told him the same thing. The new price is higher than I wanted, but for brand new trailers it is still probably well worth it.

Why don't you come clean and tell us the details? You must admit, it seems odd that in one post you are telling us that someone else bought the trailers, and then in another post you are telling us that you bought them. That fact alone was a sufficient basis for us to consider you a possible troll.

I don't really have any problem with you buying all the trailers, although I don't think they could have ethically sold the trailers to someone else while the auction was still going on.

If they agreed to sell you the whole load only if the auction didn't go through, then I don't have a problem with it at all.

Yes I bought all the trailers. I contacted the seller between the lot listing and the dutch listing. I wasnt able to work out the details and wire the money till Wenesday afternoon . My wife got the confirmation that the payment was recieved by phone on Friday the 26th
I asked about the Ebay listing on the 24th but never got a answer if it was going to be pulled .
Why she didnt pull the listing I dont know . I do know she had over 175 of other stuff end on the 24th .

As for shipping they will be comming like the ones in the pix with the fenders, tongue, and wheels removed on pallets stacked 2 high . That way they all will fit into a semi trailer.

All of this happened without me even knowing about the thread in this forum untill I saw it highlighted as I was shooting by to the bottem to mark "all forums read"
This is the real story and when I read about what you guys were trying to do I tossed the "someone" part in so no one would get burned but it was taken the wrong way :whoops:

It sounds like the sellers were being a bit underhanded, taking your money before it was sure that the trailers would not all sell in the auction. Unless they knew they were going to get more trailers.

When are you supposed to get the trailers? What price do you plan to sell them for?

It seems like there are a a lot more of these trailers back east, and that they do not sell for us much there. Still, I would think that you would be able to make some money selling them. Especially if you paid less than the original asking price.

Let us know when you get them-- and what condition they are in. It would be good for us to get confirmation that these guys actually deliver the trailers they sell.

I just got back from being out of town and was surprised to read what took place while away. Certainly the thread lost what little civility it had originally. So, I hear someone on this forum bought all of the eBay batch of trailers while they were still on auction. Obviously, it doesn't speak well of the buyer (wasn't exactly honest here) nor seller with such underhandedness but there will be other trailers. Time to move on again.
 
I got it. It makes it sound like it is go. I wonder if that means he has all the buyers he needs.

Here is the jist of the email sent to me:

I will send you the invoice by paypal after you confirm your needs with this email. Everything is on track and everyone is on board we are no longer calling the trailers Brand New after inspection they are what we call Great Used and while some may call them Brand New we do not, we prefer to sell our trailers for what they are and these are Great Used ¼ Ton Canadian Military Trailers. We have been working all week to pack them for shipping as they will be shipped next week so we really need to have your cooperation and quick speed reply to get all out ducks together and have the order ready to go next week.

Yeah, this bugs me a bit. OTOH, he now has more trailers. Hopefully he knew he had more trailers before he agreed to sell the original ones to Koffer.
