I had heard rumors... and could have sworn I read an article here on mud about using the steering where from a late 90s/early 00s Camry as a direct drop in replacement on a 100 series Crusier. This excited me so much, and since the steering wheel in my 99/ Crusier is trashed, that I went to my local auto salvage place and pulled a beautiful steering wheel out of a wrecked 99' Camry to drop in my Cruiser. Well it didn't pan out like my dreams had envisioned because the Camry steering wheel was just a little bit different, enough to not work. Has any done this successfully? I can't seem to find the threat that talked about this but have seen a thread talking about a Camry to GX swap on here. If it is possible what year of Camry should I be looking for to find the right fit? Thanks in advance!
