Looks like your CV was flinging grease at some point.

Good rust prevention. Mine looks very similar, but I can't imagine CVs did that. Maybe PO treated frame?

My undercarriage looked very similar to yours when I purchased mine. I bought some Amazon wheel brushes, Simple Green, and HD Degreaser and got to work.

Makes a world of difference on these older trucks, I know 100% if something is leaking now.
