i think we are going to miss this one, at best we'd bring the forester up and goof off around town and pool during the day while you guys are out and then hang in the eve. have to see how we feel...

Does that mean you're planning on camping at the CG? If so, grab a spot quick!
I doubt we will do the campground. Generally, its not our thing when we go camping.

Normally I would agree. Maybe I'm getting old, but this sure sounded like a grand idea:
This CG is walking distance from downtown Ouray and has the usual amenities. The Ouray swimming pool that's fed by the hot springs is also nearby. In the past, we'd let the kids swim after returning from a trail run.
I'll save my hard core camping for the spring trip to Baja.
Pretty sure they let you go to the pool even if your not staying in town....

Yesterday, I did Black Bear and Imogene. Actually, Ginger drove both. It was great out. Pretty funny, after hanging out in Telluride, we found a business card on our windshield. Just so happens it was Juane!! I called him up and he was behind us on Black Bear watching us from above, he then saw me parked and saw the HDC sticker and had to leave his card. Small world.

Small world indeed. Cdan and I were driving through the area as well on Monday and then again on Tuesday. Weather sure is fickle up there between Ouray and Silverton. Pouring rain and cold!

We had no time bro. It was a very quick business trip for both of us.
