This was a great trip indeed. Thanks to everyone that were able to make it and make this a fun experience. The weather was normal for the year with rain on the last two days. This was our first time running Black Bear pass with a downpour and that made it more "interesting".

1st day - Pougheepsie gulch and Corkscrew Gulch
2nd day - Black bear pass into Telluride, then a slight detour to check out Alta lake and finally return home via Ophir pass.
3rd day - Rick and Kelly's wedding on Imogene summit overlook

Thankfully, our mechanical troubles were minimal and everyone did great.

Great trip guys! Looked like you guys had fun.

Wish I could have made it but we still went out here in Farm.

Videos were cool. Poughkeepsie I still claim as the hardest part of Ouray/Silverton/Telluride bc of the "wall". Black Bear is always fun, more hype than hard.

I have a buddy who lives in Ophir. I put the lift on his Taco!

What's the deal with this town? Is it bunch of vacation summer homes or do people live there full time and work somewhere else? Neat little town and looks to be in good shape.

Mostly full timers.

My buddy works in Telluride. Does locum work in Farmington.

Hard core in he winter. He's a ski mountaineer and hunts right out his door. Prices are steep for homes, especially for what you get.

That's the price you pay for living in paradise.

Here's the email I received from Kevin (Black Exterra)

Ali,

Thanks again to you & Michelle, Shawn & Jill, Jon, Mike & Bonnie, and Ron & Danielle for letting me tag along on Thursday and getting me up the wall (despite my mistake at the top). If you could pass this on to everyone, I would appreciate it.

I have video of Shawn, Ali, Jon, & Mike that I've posted that you can see and download if you want. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of Ron and Cindy's video skills need some work so I don't have one of my run either. All of the videos are full HD so the files aren't trivial in size (Shawn's is ~300MB, Jon's is about 93MB, Ali's is 60MB and Mike's is 57MB). If you need or want a smaller size, let me know and I can do it easily. The videos are posted at the following URL:
