im considering a camping trip to Klondyke, AZ to do some exploring and possibly linking up with some of the Tucson folks. Tentative dates are January 3 & 4, let me know if you are interested.

I don't recall any extremely challenging wheeling, just some great country.

Are you planning going up rug road or down it?

This is in my back yard so I could probably go - won't be able to commit until next week.

Interested, but the last 'January Overnight' you hosted, we all froze our asses off! Planning an overnight that Sat/Sun? Count me as tentative, though I'd set aside the weekends to do heavy lifting on the RX7 engine swap project,

Cold is relative, I doubt it will be too cold if you dress appropriately.

I may take rug road, I was thinking of camping on the east side off rattle snake road.

I think what Claudia is implying with her post is, "man up"

I have since upgraded to the military 3-part sleep system which has been tested in cold (30F) tent camping, so I've learned a few lessons in the past few years. Would like to make this run and would be a great way to start off 2015,

Maybe we can discuss logistics during lunch at RedCreek

I'm in - you mentioned hoteling it at Pima (?) which would be preferable if it's nearby. I haven't wheeled at all around Tucson and don't know what's close. I'm trying to avoid adding the RTT for a simple overnight trip if not needed. Hope to see you and others this weekend,

Are there updated details for this trip?

I may be out, been fighting allergies for a few days. I need to see if today is a better day or not.

If I'm not 100%, then camping will be out but I would like to get in a few more day trips.

Same here, I've been fighting a bug all week. Don't think I'm up for an overnight.

Do you think it was something we got into at Red Creek?

I've been having the sneezing fits (sneezing 4-5 times in a row, non-stop) since we got back on Monday along with allergy-type sinus headaches and finally today got to where I'm not sneezing erratically. Hope you both get to feeling better, and post up for any day-trips this weekend. Take care,
