I am about to purchase an Old Man Emu lift and 295/75 mudders and need some help with the lift install.....since I have zero mechanical experiance and lack tools I am hopeing to hook up with some local mudders and learn a thing or two from the pros.

Are there any local mudders that want to help? I will buy the pizza and beer! :D Maybe after the install we can break it in!:bounce:

I am thinking Saturday the 4th of August. Anyone interested?

depends on when and where you are doing the install.

I live in Colorado Springs! When and where for tomorrows meeting? I may be able to make it!

If you can't make it to tomorrows meeting then kayaked56 and myself are actually installing his on Saturday. Not sure what he thinks but maybe we could combine efforts :beer::beer::beer:

The meeting is at Stevenson Toyota West at 6th Avenue and Indiana.

Christo Slee usually comes so if you need some parts you could call him and ask him to bring them.

We start showing up around 7PM to chat in the parking lot, the meeting starts at 7:30 and then we got to Hops for beers.

Edit : That damn nakman :D

I used to live in Manitou springs. If I still did I would definetly help you out. Now I live in NH. :frown: It sucks here. I miss mountains and camping and real 4 wheeling. All we got out here is a bunch of mud that smells like cow s***.

Post up on CLC's site Great club in your neck of the woods! Watch out for Trevor....rumor has it that he has bad habits!:D

I should be in your position about the same time- minimal wrenching ability and probably an OME kit to install. I can drink beer and eat pizza though...If I do get the lift kit by that time I'd be interested in some sort of a group install in Colorado Springs.

Buy a good jack and jack stands and give it a go. Slees website has great instructions. If your just swapping springs its pretty easy. Get a good set of metric tools, breaker bar, and some PB Blaster,
Go for it. Sorry I cant help Im in Denver and have a 6 month old son. I barely have time to shake the floor mats out right now.

I have tools and space, and our calendar is open on the 4th. Shoot me a PM if you want to get together. I'm just South of Monument.

P.S. I have a set of Front OME Mediums just sitting in my garage. Let me know if either of you are interested.
