NOT MINE!

Thought it was cool though...I would totally buy it if I didn't have projects on my plate.

Anyone know this seller?

How much wildlife currently lives in the engine bay?

I have known and tried to buy this 45 for 20 years! The family sold it to a family friend recently. I was told I would get first chance at it, but it went to this guy. He knows nothing about 45’s just happened to see it in the barn while visiting. It is very original and solid, but needs everything! I have called the owner every 6 months for 20 years!! Oh well, it is likely destined for a high dollar resto by one of the many companies buying these rare originals. I would have left it as is a do a mechanical resto!

That sucks, truck looks solid.

Sorry, Brian. There is no honor among thieves. There was a time when a handshake meant everything and your word was your honor. In real estate we have a written document, first right of refusal, to ensure what was spoken is enforceable. Sad that times have changed and lawsuits rule the day.

You might try pleading your case with the family friend....?.. looks like a nice solid truck. I especially dig that cob-webby goodness!

The new owner went on the 40 & 45 tech forum months ago asking what it was worth before he bought it from family friends. I don’t think he did know what it was worth until he came on here

What a shame.....I bet the bed was in much Better shape 20yrs ago!! Frame doesn’t look too bad for a Santa Cruz life of leisure.

It sounds like the reserve may be higher than its worth. Already at $9200. I’m betting it stops at 11k.....or goes higher to meet reserve and bidders will back out. (They always want to see what the reserve is with no intention of buying til next auction with lower reserve)

How much do you think she's worth?

How much will it cost to restore?

How much will she be worth after restoration?

what's it worth? what ever someone is willing to pay for it, but my opinion is it is less than where the auction is currently

cost to restore? depends on who does it, a true restoration, maybe over $100,000

what will it be worth? 50% of the cost of the restoration
