has any one used these products?
if so how did you like it?
i am preparing to re stain my decks, i have used CWF in the past and Thompsons water seal, neither seem to last more than 1 year.

I've been disappointed with the current crop of low-VOC water seals. Years ago the oil-based formulas lasted much longer.

I do like the Cabot stains, though.

I ran into this with the low-VOC on my trailer build for the spar urethane. I can buy the reg stuff only in qts which isn't cheap here in the NE so i bought a gallon which are low-VOC and has been a PITA .
I found the "high test" stuff available in SC and had a fellow Mudder who was passing thru and buying some parts from me pick up a couple of gallons .
It was way cheaper the the VOC stuff and about 1/4 the price if I bought it in the qt size .

Look to see if its still available in other places and you maybe able to work out a trade
(lowes and HD web site made it easy for me by going to the web sites and poping in the different states for "my store" to see what goodies they have)

I treated my cedar fence with Cabot semi-transparent stain two summers ago (this will be summer #3).

I pressure washed the fence first, and gave it a healthy dose of stain with a high-nap roller. The stain is 'okay' on the boards, but it's noticeably faded & weathered. The tops of the cross beams in the fence have basically zero stain left on them already - a big disappointment.

I'll have to re-stain everything this summer, as it didn't last nearly as long as I'd hoped.
