What about coming out to watch, and see what it is all about.
Sounds like a great time, I would not be able to run in it this year anyways, my rig is not done, just wanted to watch and see how the trails are like, I have a bad back as well and can't do the wheeling like I did in the day! but like the action still the same. May be I can get involved next year a little earlier and help some were, this year is a busy one for me-Full time student, Scout Master...working on the FJ...next year I will have more time.
Thanks for the info!
Chad, sounds like you had a great time! I am looking forward to this weekend. What run would you suggest for me since I am only rolling on 33s with 2 lockers and a winch? I doubt I'll have the powersteering in by Friday night so it will be armstrong steering for this trip.

I really would like to get my Pig up to par so I could go on these types of trips. It needs a lot of work/time and a lot of money.
Chad,
How important is it to have a working parking brake for this outing? Apparently mine isn't working at all right now. I haven't used one in the past while wheeling, but if it's required I'll probably just throw a line lock in for the weekend.
Get'er done!!! When we go on these runs, it's a great opportunity to learn more about your rig, your capabilities, your rig's capabilities, where your shortfalls are, and prioritize your mods.
You might be happily surprised to find out what your piggie will do now, or to discover that you're happy with the gearing, but need to lift 4" or so. It's hard to say.
