I am new to 45's and have some questions that I feel should be basic knowledge but can't seem to find answers for - I am in the slow process of acquiring things to build a LPB out of parts, I have a late 60's chassis already. I am considering buying one of the Chinese cabs which are 79-84. Will that work with my chassis pretty easily? How about the bed, are all LPB bed mounts in the same location?

79 to 84 have the gas tank under the cab, so mounting points are different than a 60’s cab. Same with the bed, some small difference’s in mounting. But it can be done with some custom mounts for the rear of the cab. The bed mounts are very close and easy to make work.

Thanks, could I use the cowl mounts to get the cab alignment right?

what about mid/late 70's? I have a line on a complete 1977 year truck that has a decent bed but roached cab.

Follow-up to that, if I was able to find a set of rear cab mounts from a 79-84 frame, I should be able to weld those to my frame and and everything work, right?
