Agree with above. 80 mph to wheeling, camping, mountain biking and fishing. 100 is the ticket. And add this.

What? Are you suggesting a 4.7 out of a Tundra makes the 100 "faster"?
245 hp, 315 ftlb torque but geared more for low rpm torque and more linearHow much torque??
Sounds sweet.
Off road it isn't even close.
Hundy has 320 ft lbs stock.
That motor has 25 more hp stock.
Sc is suppose to add 80 or so to both.
My 100 has dt headers and 3 inch exhaust and it makes a big difference.
Hundies can use all the help they can get.![]()
Just like @93yotasr5, I have both as well and love my 80 way more!
Mod to modded, the 80 has a clear advantage in the rocks. But stock for stock is a good question. Mud consensus is only 8% of 80's came with lockers (92% came unlocked). ALL 2000+ 100's came with ATRAC. So comparing a completely stock, unlocked 80 to a completely stock 100 with ATRAC would be interesting.stock vs stock, the 100 is really that much worse offroad than the 80?
What are the reasons, and what type of driving. Just curious to know, I like the 80 and have been thinking of getting a diesel 100, but a manual diesel 80 might be a option.
