This sounds like Sam's rig but I could be wrong.
Are you going to sell the rear kit seperate from the front?
yes

Hard to say until I get it back on the ground. At the moment I think this one is 5"s of lift. The body lift is only needed on this rig because of the tire size. Again this is a coilover system so lift amounts vary depending on the preload you place on the shock/spring. At the moment its shaping up to be 6"s of lift = 6"s of shock at ride ht. While 3"s of lift = 3"s of shock at ride ht.
If someone with a stock FJ can tell me what their frame ht is and tire size is I'd have a better idea of what the end result will be.
Mine is stock. Measures between 15" and 15.5" from the ground to the frame at various spots down the side of the vehicle. My tires are 275/70 R16, which I believe may be slightly larger than stock. My springs might have sagged over the 190K mile life too...

I wheel my truck to get where I am going, not to just see what it will do.
In many instances, getting there requires some butt puckering feats with my 80. I built it up and put all this stuff on it for a reason. I either couldn't get where I wanted to go or I got stuck getting there. I run into those issues very rarely now.

...had to do it.
Just a bumptokeep this near the top. Super curious to see what you're coming up with.
??? He is not reinventing the wheel.
How's the kit coming along. Got any pic yet?
