So...I've owned her since she was new. She was bought as a lux family wagon for my wife, because I've always had Cruisers. Two 40's, a 62, an 80 and the 100. She has 239K on her, and hums like the day we brought her home. Just bought the wife a new Lexus RX350 now that the kids are grown. I have a Ford F350 dually beast. I decided to sell the beast and build the 100. I'm really excited to get started. I'll post the bone stock pictures shortly. This week I'm taking her to 4X4Labs in Grass Valley, CA for the initial phase...the lift. The bumpers and sliders are ordered, and Luke should have them built in 6 weeks or so. I ordered a new LED kit for the interior lighting, and also for the backup tail lights. I'll try to document it all as I go. I haven't done anything like this in a loooooooong time, so as a newbie, I'd appreciate any insights or guidance. I've been reading everything here like mad, and already feel like I've learned so much. Thanks for welcoming a newbie to the thread.

Awesome.

Okay...here are a few bone stock photos.

And the running boards come off. Easy job. 45 minutes total. A bit tight in some spots, but really no problem. The biggest question; why in the hell didn't I do this years ago?

Levi the Great Dane likes it too.

Also, note the liner in the back. Just got it from Amazon today. (Amazon.com : Plush Paws Waterproof Cargo Liner, Bumper Flap, Machine Washable, Durable - XL GREY : Pet Supplies)

It's long enough to cover the entire back when the middle seats are folded up. With two Danes, and the kids moved out...that's most of the time. In in the pic I have it folded under at the tailgate. It is long enough to cover the tailgate and hang over. Seems pretty solid. Washable. I ordered Weathertech liners for the middle seat floor and the fronts, but I needed something else that would cover the entire cargo area.

Tomorrow I'll drop her with Luke at 4x4 Labs for the lift. Can't wait!

Cool on the build I'll be watching your progress! Thanks for the link on the bed cover, with 3 golden retrievers it's tough keeping the interior decent and the weather tech mat doesn't cover all the way forward with the seats folded forward

Comes in Black and Tan as well. For me, the black would show the hair too much. And the tan seemed like it would show too much dirt. Though for you with the goldies...might like that tan

My bumpers are both made and installed by Craftsmen from Grass Valley. Ben with Dissent for the fronts and Luke with 4x4 labs for the rear. Both are very pleasant to do business with and happy with their products. Luke just finished a rear bumper for the GX470 so waiting to see how it looks like installed then might go visit your lovely town again.

On the dog front, I might suggest using a cargo net if your pal decides he enjoyes hopping over the seats.

thanks. Two of them in fact. But they are both happy to stay in back. Which is good...since they are 150 lbs each.

Headed over to 4x4 Labs later today to see progress. Should be mostly done. Might be unfinished bumper on rear if powder coat is not done. Went with new wheels so I could fit the 35's without spacers. Going with these: NV | Matte Black Off-road Wheel. Tires will be BFG ATs. Can't wait to get a first look. Will post pics as available.

4x4Labs did an awesome job! Sliders not on yet (getting powder coated) but OME lift, bumpers, wheels and tires all on. Couldn't be happier with it.

Specs:

OME Heavy 2.5"
4x4Labs Custom Front Bumper
4x4Labs Cusrom Rear Bumper w/ spare carrier and ladder
18" Black Method Race Wheels
BFG 25x12.5-15s
4x4Labs sliders- (not installed)

How do those 35s fit? Any rubbing while flexed or anything? Gorgeous looking truck!!

When the 35s were first installed there was some rubbing at full turn. Had to trim out a bunch of the plastic from the wheel wells. Seems to clear well now. Haven't been off-road, so can't say on that yet. I'll keep y'all posted as we shake out any bugs.

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a roof rack capable of taking a roof-top tent? For that matter, how about the tent? The range of prices seems outrageous, so I'm having trouble knowing where to start.

Sweet!

Didn't know Luke made sliders or a front bumper for our rigs. I'm going to get his rear bumper soon. Mind me asking how much his sliders are?

Gamiviti @nakman makes a great roof rack for the 100 that wouldn't have any issues supporting a RTT

Any chance for some more pics of that front bumper? Pretty slick looking.
