So after this last weekend it has me rethinking my build timeline and the priority of what gear gets installed first. Safety on the brain and wanted to get some input from others.

We really enjoy camping and exploring in the great outdoors, which is our main focus right now. The harder trails and rock crawling can come later after that equipment is installed.

Already have a Lift, Tires, CB,

1. Storage drawers/ table and chuck box unit, securely attached to the 4runner's body

2. Cargo barrier

3. Rear Bumper w/ tire carrier, hi-lift, roto-paxs, swing outs

**Really want to get all that gear out of the interior of the 4runner!**

4. Ham Radio

5. Rock Sliders

6. Fridge/ Freezer in a secure slide mount

7. Roof Rack

8. On Board Air (York Compressor)

9. Front Bumper

10. Winch

Because of this reason!!, we love our furry child and our friends that ride in the second row!! In what order would you install your gear and why?

I would do the drawer sliders and cargo barrier first, then your bumpers, then the rest.

Its good to have space for your gear to go camping asap, and then to protect your investments and friend with the bumpers.

But really, no need to be posting about it, just get it installed.

The more time and money(and weight) you invest in your rig ,the less you'll want to go smashing it up rock crawling.

I would get that rear bumper as a matter of priority. Once the tyre/hi lift is mounted safely out of the way,it will free up more room on the inside.
Then you can start on the drawers. I would do this in conjunction with the fridge and slider so it all fits in together.

I would have some kind of compressor as a matter of urgency.

This is pretty much the order I'm going in;

(3)1. Storage drawers/ table and chuck box unit, securely attached to the 4runner's body

(4? do you really need this if everything is secured in drawers and on the swingouts? )2. Cargo barrier

(1)3. Rear Bumper w/ tire carrier, hi-lift, roto-paxs, swing outs

**Really want to get all that gear out of the interior of the 4runner!**

(5b) depends on who you travel with how big a priority this is IMHO)4. Ham Radio

(2)5. Rock Sliders

(8)6. Fridge/ Freezer in a secure slide mount

(9, I'd avoid this if you can, they look cool but do nothing for economy)7. Roof Rack

(5a)8. On Board Air (York Compressor)

(6)9. Front Bumper

(7)10. Winch

<snip>
I already did the ham radio because everyone I travel with uses them.
