Years back one of the VI Cruiser members said they had some Budbuilt 1/4s in their stash. Are they still kicking around?

I'm not in a big rush... realistically it'll likely be a while till I actually get to fixing my 1/4s... but one can dream.

1) If you're not attached to some spare 1/4s (Budbuilt or otherwise) let me know.

2) If you've got a line on a roller that could role some sheet metal to rebuild my spare 1/4 with something thicker than stock (even if not 1/4 or 3/16), I'd also be interested. I wouldn't mind 1/16" so they'd be easier to arc weld to my 1/8" tub.

3) A shop with a roller or press that'll not think they can fleece me because FJ40s are a richman's Toy.

Thx.

What are Budbuilt? A long time ago, when that Canadian Off Road magazine was just started a
guy from Victoria was building rear quarters, he'd made a jig for shaping them and rolling the corners
Is this the guy? He was in an article in the magazine building a set.

So no rolled lips or anything on those? The wheel openings aren't factory either by the looks, made
to fit the flares. Amazing, never heard of this before.

Nothing fancy... would complete the 1/8" thick tub. Likely just do 1/16" or 1/8" rather than 3/16"
