Was driving through town today, took a swift right turn at a stoplight and heard a loud pop. Got out to see what it was, after looking around for a bit, sure enough I’ve broken a link. Thought these things were supposed to be super heavy duty, they’re barely a year old. Does landcruiser phill stand behind his products ?

Reach out to them and see what they say. Looks like it can be easily replaced with a new link. Is the center coupler threaded in to the lower saddle or welded?

Looks like you do some rock crawling. Me too…. Bolt on products are not always the end all be all solution for knuckleheads like us. I’d weld that back together and go see how long it takes to break it again.

Did you give him an opportunity to stand behind his product before jumping in here to make a big fuss?
chill out buddy ro, I’m not making a big fuss. It’s people like you that start stuff. That’s why I steer clear of the forums sometimes. Yeah I reached out for this and once before a couple years ago with no response. Just figured the team might be more active on mud here so I wanted to post. Appreciate your concern.

You know.. occasionally. And Yup that’s what I’m thinking man, these suckers were rather pricey tho , that’s why I was sorta hoping for a solution or at least a discount on a replacement. Gonna keep reaching out but will probably just weld it for now.

I am chill you chill man, haha.

That's two complaints in two days. Larger sample size, I suppose.

I have a set of these on the bench ready to go in but the simpler landtank design is starting to look more appealing.

Hopefully @LandCruiserPhil will drop by soon to tell you a new one is in the mail.

Hell yes, we stand behind our products and no you are not the first or the last to break our stuff. If you wheel you have failures and yes even our stuff fails. Like all of our products it was first designed by me for my needs and I put in the testing to do the best I can with the best materials available.
If anyone has a problem and it's due to our manufacturing you are covered 100% with no questions. We have even been known to replace parts even if its your fault if you are nice.

First - Send me the email you used to reach out to us and did not get a response. With that said, when you had a prior issue how did you handle it?

Looking at the scares on the end of the swaybar and your lower control arm you use our product for what it was designed for:grinpimp:
It does appear the lower bolt is bent also or is the pic?
Looks like the main bolt bent before it broke. How much should a 1/2" grade 8 bolt bend before it breaks?

Bottom line @ICY80 if you honestly feel that our manufacturing caused your failure I'll send you out a replacement FREE.
Otherwise a replacement part $25 shipped

SIDE NOTE - It's best if you have any issues to reach out on our LCP website. I no longer handle the day-to-day of LCP. I mainly do product development, and adventure travel and don't spend much time on MUD.
Thanks for all your continued support.
