Broken Alternator Mount - Where do I get a new one?

After 2 years of a broken motor being rebuilt, we finally got my 2F running like a champ and then some. Then, a belt started to whip against the fan up front, so I went and checked the alternator/power steering pump and tightened it up. Only it wasn't tightening up, it was pivoting in a curious place.

Further investigation and I discovered the mount had just cracked completely. It still runs fine with a few squeels every now and then, but I know it's obviously not healthy and it just sits most of the time.

Where do I find a new one of these? Whatever it's called. Or would a weld do the job?

Check the parting out section in the classifieds. Another source is cruiserparts.net. Maybe get it welded would be third option?

No need for new, like mentioned cruiserparts or Classic Cruisers in Buena Vista Colorado can pull one for you and I'm sure $OR has one

Be advised. It looks like your AC compressor is on top and the alternator on the bottom. My '85 is not configured like this. I'm not sure if you have aftermakket, or something else...Can you weld the bracket?

I'm wondering if welding would be a good option - and the AC and PS are reversed? That's how it was when I bought it, but maybe it was put together wrong by someone previous. I'll take a look into that as well, maybe that's why it cracked it in the first place.

On the US spec 2F in the FJ 60, on the passenger side the Alternator is on top and the AC compressor is on the bottom. The power steering pump and air pump (top, bottom respectively) are on the drivers side.

Your picture I guess shows your power steering pump? I thought it was the AC compressor, since the OEM power steering pump has a reservoir on top.

I'm looking over that image and I don't think my belts are done up right. My brother did most of the rebuild, but a shop in Salt Lake finished up and tuned the engine, I'll have to look at the work order and see if they put the belts on out-of-order.

You have some sort of add-on A/C bracketry.....
