Broke the Oil Pressure Sender electrical connector (1 Viewer)

Would this connector work on the round oil pressure sender connection point?

I chopped mine off to replace the frayed wire and put a regular female connector on it and it has worked fine. I still have the rubber cap so I’m not worried about dirt getting between the connection.

I too currently have a spare connector on it. I am worried it will pop off too easy on washboard roads. Worst case no oil pressure gauge I guess.
