i think its the one piece but with the little, vague info you give us its hard to say. details would help illicit a better answer
 
The ABS ring is only pressed onto the birf. You can try to pound it off using a brass drift and a BFH.

i also got some damage on the teeth of the gear itself, not many but 3 teeth. you reckon that will be a problem for the abs?
 
i had to take the prop shaft off in the grass with buffalos near, was covered with ticks and stuff. it was pretty nuts i was sttressed about lions coming and grabbing my feet while i worked. still managed not too lose any bolts or washers, but my cv joint was toast.

You win!! That has go to be the worst place ever to repair a birfield joint. Loved the part about the lions grabbing your feet, classic.
