Break booster rust (1 Viewer)

Anyone got more guidance for restoring the rust this part of the break booster. The break booster is good just got rusted from sitting with fluid for a long time.

I have searched and searched and found a few things just hoping for some wisdom so that I don't mess anything up.

Also the push rod has a rusted tip as well. Is this something I can restore or am I best off trying to find a replacement part? Is this something I can find from a dealer or after market

Depending on your budget, I’d either sand and paint, sand blast and paint, swap in a newer booster from a 4Runner/60/70/80, or buy a new one from City Racer.

It looks old enough that I’d not bother with fancy plating. Rebuild parts are no longer available (unfortunately).
