Brian, I'm interested but it would need to be cost effective. If I had $2600 to spend on front brakes, I'd just go with the Stoptechs.

OK, so the 100 Series brake rotors are 312 x 32mm. In order to get some good gains from this system, we'll concentrate on increasing rotor size and improving the air flow to them... the stock calipers will be retained.

I need to know... are folks willing to go to a 17" wheel IF we can't squeeze anything larger under the 16" wheel?

I'd be interested but I also have 18's

Skip 17's, very few have them. Design them for 18's. Stoptech offers 355mm aero rotors for the 100.

I'm not a fan on changing the entire system. All of my track cars have been able to withstand enormous brake stress without going with a large "eye candy" setup, including those cars that are known to have weak setups.

In a nutshell, warping is caused by uneven wheel torquing and excessive heat and cold cycles

I doubt any of us would use the potential of a standard 2 piece rotor rotor and custom pads That would come in under a grand for the front setup

The suggestion for the aero rotors were not because they were two piece... but rather because they are already out there and available. What are the other options for larger rotors? The Tundra and LC200 rotors don't fit. Custom?

So i'm looking to improve my stopping power and im wondering whats out there now. everthing is stock other than the 33's on my
129k 1999 lc. Not interested in bbk but ill try anything for lessthan 1k for all 4 (no labor, Ill have that fun myself!)

Getting decent pedal feel on the 2nd hard push per stop- doesnt seem right. She stops ok but id prefer better.

Thanks in advance!

Oh and id mostly like to hear about what you've actually installed for an improvemnet not speculative argumentative BS.

Second hard push per stop is not related to the pads/rotors - that is the master cylinder. Many have had good luck with the rebuild plunger kit to restore the brakes to like new condition. Do a search for master cylinder rebuild and you'll find lots of info.

As for pads/rotors, you'll find many, many opinions. I did go with the stoptech kit from rockauto for pads and rotors. Been running for 6k miles without any issue or any brakes noise. Again, search for the faq or forum for brake change instructions to get many good tips.

I have 18”s . Any update on a brake upgrade yet? The calipers custom fitting isn’t a concern for me I am more curious about the tundra rotors fitting over the hub or not.

Awesome please keep me posted.

also, incase anyone was wondering I measured the hub size for the rotors and the tundra ones definitely won't fit. It's about an inch or two smaller

Hey, I need new brakes for my ‘03 LX470.

@bjowett If there are any options available now I’d be very interested. I’d even post up a review

bumping this up. Was it ever determined whether Tundra rotors would work on the LC 100s? I just picked up some Tundra Rock Warrior wheels and am wondering if I can also use Tundra brakes.
