Saw this one online today. Local dealer is asking $25k, which seems a bit high even for CO, right? I’m new on the forum, so still getting my bearings. Carfax indicates it spent most of its life in Minn, which is concerning. No undercarriage photos. I’ll probably try to go look at it tomorrow.

Minnesota - Connecticut - Minnesota - Colorado. Hopefully no undercarriage rust.

$25 for clean 07 with only 100K isn't bad. I called on this one before pictures where up. They laughed when I asked about the 07. I said whats so funny; Salesman said; "I was the 15 caller and they'd only been open 5 minutes". It took them 4 hours to call me back to get some info on it. Once I found where it came from, for first 90K miles of it's life, I end the conversation. I didn't even bother looking, as it was a rigs from rust belt. Any from Chicago area to NY which includes most of Minnesota I just skip over. But, some parts of Minnesota and Ill aren't bad (rust). So this one "may" be worth a look. If your in the area take a peak at undercarriage and rear hatch.

It is a misnomer that Colorado vehicles, or any from area that has snow fall, have rust that's a problem. The rust we see in Colorado is just surface from not washing off mag-chloride (road salt).

The rust found in the rust belt, rigs gets into panels, pits aluminium of engine and can be seen on bolts as corrosion under the hood. That type of rust is unstoppable. Those rigs are a PITA to work on as most ever bolt is a fight.

Saw this Tuesday online but didn’t get any info until yesterday. Still haven’t seen it on the lot but happy to look more closely if anyone wants pics. I’m local.

I stopped by the dealer today and the sales guy told me they had 22 calls yesterday. The car was getting new brakes and they already replaced the muffler due to rust. The body looks really nice and that blue color is awesome. I didn't get a chance to look under the car but I was told there's some surface rust but “not too bad.” Hmmm...

07 Muffler "rust" = Rust belt rig. I'm not interested in it. Thanks for reporting back!

I am putting up my 99 LX470 with 149K miles, replaced the AHC suspension by Lexus at 100K. From Nevada no rust, just the paint fade and driver seat leather tear. I am waiting to close on a 200 series out of state, before I post on here.

Definitely rust. Seems this is $20-22K truck at most.

Question: is it common to spray/powder coat OEM wheels? Looks like that was done in this case.
