Borrow a vacuum pump for A/C? (1 Viewer)

Hello from Norfolk!

I went by Chinese Freight last weekend in the hopes of finding a vacuum pump for Air Cond systems. All they had was a venturi unit that runs off of compressed air. Guess they don't carry the motorized version any more. Let me know if you have one. The DD has a leak near the air compressor that I need to fix before recharging with Freon. If I can buy one locally for a decent price, let me know that too pls.

Have you been there long enough to have gotten hammered by the tropical storm. Danise was there a week ago for her friend's wedding. Techinically, she was across the river in Hampton but it's all the same Metro area.

Can't you rent that stuff from Autozone, NAPA, or some other parts house?

Hmm, rent...I didn't think you could rent a pump but it's worth looking into. As far as the chain saw, what on earth prompted to buy it? Were you planning a massacre or something?

Kind of. Greg and I came up with a little scheme to get him a chain saw. We planned to have the club vote on buying a small chain saw for trail runs. He and I conspired to stuff the ballot box so the motion would pass. The club would buy the chain saw from me for $600 and Greg would get to keep it at his house. Everyone wins, right? The plot was uncovered and Greg resigned his VP position and I became an introvert.

So now the chain saw is for sale at a HUGE loss. $300 for you, big boy, and I promise to "Luv U Long Time."
