I'm trying to understand why loctite would void warranty, any engineers want to shed some light on this?
Reduction of friction when tightening the lugs. The note earlier asking about loctite lubricating a bolt is accurate.
If you adhere to manufacturer recommended torque specs you're likely ok. If you're using a torque stick (like at a wheel/tire place) on an impact the studs don't stand a chance.

I'm not saying loctite on wheels with spacers isn't a good option. I personally think it would work well, but certainly would keep it off of anything that would be facing up to a torque gun. That being said Bora is probably shielding themselves from as much liability as possible (including shops doing the work).
