Of course, my apologies
Much like the Federal Government, I'm here to help.
Just think of me as an IRS agent with a Southern accent.

Perhaps you should look into having these made? Seems like there might be enough demand for it.
I think I'll let Ward do his thing first. :)

Thanks Charles -
I will do my best to find smoked unicorns but sourcing a small run of custom bonnets in AUS not likely, maybe on this side.... :)

not sure what they look like but they list them

Great find @ozcrusier - We are happy to take the lead on dealing with this supplier, placing the order and funding the production, importation and distribution. That said, here are some assumptions we will make in making that effort for the good of the order. We would appreciate it if any interested parties or implicit stakeholders take a look and if you disagree or take exception, let us know.

ASSUMPTIONS / EXPECTATIONS:
1. Buyer interest appears to favor "smoked" or tinted plastic items for 70 Series vehicles from 1985 to 2001
2. If they can be sourced on reasonable terms (minimum volume, pricing, shipping, etc.) we will share the results of our research and put forth what we think is likely to be the end retail price, including dealer mark-up to cover currency risk, shipping, handling and stocking/inventory costs.
3. Until we get this figured out and can make the results known, we will be the sole "aggregator" from this community. That's not about controlling the deal but making sure that we don't: a) look like a bunch of loonies wasting the vendor's time with multiple efforts on behalf of the same group; and b) we don't want to expend the effort if someone wants to do it. If that IS the case, step up and take it on and we will support/applaud your efforts.

If that works for you guys/gals, then answer the following questions to confirm our understanding and provide direction on design and business issues:

QUESTION ONE - Which color do you prefer?
A. Clear _______
B. Smoke / tinted dark gray ________

QUESTION TWO - Which imagery would you prefer on the protector?
A. Clear guard with gray/black text "Land Cruiser" ______
B. Gray guard with white text "Land Cruiser" _____
C. Either clear or gray - no text ____

QUESTION THREE - How many would you likely purchase within one year of arrival in North America?
A. Definitely _______ (number), PLUS
B. Maybe ________ (number)

QUESTION FOUR - What is the maximum price you would be willing to pay per unit for a bonnet protector, including shipping (North America)?
A. US$ 75
B. US$ 100
C. US$ 125

QUESTION FIVE - If we add text, which of the following do you prefer?
A. "LandCruiser' _____
B. "Land Cruiser" _____

QUESTION SIX - Also, if we add text, which of these styles do you prefer?
A. Solid text
B. Outline text

No promises, but we will do what we can to make this happen. Thank you for your interest.

Ward (and Georg)

Party on Garth....

We are also looking at Australian and European sources for side window wind/rain deflectors as an addition to the line-up. :)

I shouuldnt mention then that I just took a set of deflector of my car and there sitting down in the shop.

I am not a fanboy of those things (I have a set on my FJ62 fire truck and they seem ok) but I understand that some folks like em alot.

** if you add text (ie vehicle type) you couldn't use it on another type of 70 Series if you chose to.
The above answers vaguely reminds me of my report cards in school.
