Ok... i'll start by saying "Maybe i'm overthinking it," but the fact is modifying cars is a personal preference thing, and my personal preference is:
1) steel wheels
2) no spacers/adapters
3) Not the tundra steelies (don't like size or look)
of course, what i will likely end up with will force me to "give" on one of the above, but if i can avoid it, why not? and if it's avoidable, i'm sure this is the place to find someone that knows how to avoid it.
so my question is... if i can source some hubs from another vehicle with a different bolt pattern (say 6x5.5 like many other Yotas), will this work? in south Florida there are 100 wrecking yards where i can likely find a 6-lug Toyota to get the hubs off of... just a question of which, if any, will work?
thank you to the people who know far more than me. My instinct tells me that if it was doable, i would have found it in my hours of searching google, but my fingers are crossed that maybe i just missed something.
