Can I get some advice on what I need to do, look out for when replacing the body and motor mounts.
My plan was to use a floor jack and 4x4 to support the body while replacing the mounts. Then use the floor jack on the oil pan to remove and replace the motor mounts.
I can remove the fan shroud, fan and loosen the fender bolts.
Trying to knock this task out in the near future. Just want to have a better idea of what I'm getting into.

I just replaced my transmission and engine mounts 2 weeks ago. I did t want to press against the oil pan.

I used a floor jack and this harbor freight jack arm that enabled me to manipulate the hieght needed. Worked for me.

Did this a few months back,
Body
a. Soak all the bolt threads about a week before and reapply a day or so before.
b. Loosen all the bolts almost all the way out - a couple are kind of hard to get to on the rear and actually the side step bolts where the hardest, as they rotated in place. Ended up jamming a pry bar to stop the head turning.
I used a 2x4 about a foot long to distribute the load as I jacked up the body on one side and worked my way along. I just used my regular floor jack with a 2x4 vertical long enough to reach the body.
Just above the rear wheel there is a canvas rub strip between the body and the frame, replace this while the body is jacked up on each side.

Engine - have both front and rear mounts on order, look very much like you have in your photo. I imagine something similar - with the wood on the edge of the oil pan where it is bolted to the block.

I found for the body mounts I didn't need to remove/lossen the front fender bolts. Soak them as previous stated. Do one side at a time but you will need to loosen all body bolts, then jack the body up on one side and start replacing working my way around from one side to the other. Took under an hour and only had to cut one old mount out.
Also, for the thin mounts #4147, I used OEM clips not the plastic clips-those were too small in diameter. It's the same clips used in between the front fenders and body/window felts ($3-5 from Toyota) Toyota 90467-07160 Clip
I also needed to buy longer running board bolts-I think the ES kit comes with 1/2 long but I went with 3/4" long (pad #4143)

I'll be sure to hit the bolts with some pb blaster before I dive into this.
I should order those toyota clips, just to have on hand and some longer bolts.
It is usually a 2 week waiting period when I place an order online, so I like to think ahead.
Thanks for the advice everyone
